APSEZ to achieve handling 400 mn tonne cargo by FY25

It had achieved cargo throughput of 223 million tonne in FY19

APSEZ, Hazira, Gujarat, Dhamra Port, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Mormugao, Goa, Visakhapatnam, Ennore, Tamil Nadu, Vizhinjam port, Kerala, Myanmar, Adani Group, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) is on the path to achieving 400 million tonne of cargo throughput by FY25.

APSEZ, part of the globally diversified Adani Group, had achieved cargo throughput of 223 million tonne in FY19.

APSEZ's 11 strategically located ports and terminals -- Mundra, Dahej, Kandla and Hazira in Gujarat, Dhamra in Odisha, Mormugao in Goa, Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, and Kattupalli and Ennore in Tamil Nadu -- represent 24 percent of the country's total port capacity, handling vast amounts of cargo from both coastal areas and the vast hinterland.

The company is also developing a trans-shipment port at Vizhinjam, Kerala and a container terminal in Myanmar.
