Sterling and Wilson Solar inks order worth AUD 525 mn

The company also inked an O&M contract

Sterling and Wilson Solar, SWSL, Australia, EPC contract, Operation and maintenance, Global IPPs

Sterling and Wilson Solar (SWSL) has signed (along with its branch and Australian subsidiary) an EPC contract of approximately AUD 525 million (around Rs 2,600 crore) in Australia.

The company also inked an operation and maintenance (O&M) contract of approximately AUD 85 million (around Rs 415 crore). The duration of the O&M contract is for a maximum period of 20 years.

With this order, the company’s cumulative order book in Australia adds up to approximately AUD one billion (around Rs 4,900 crore). In spite of the ongoing pandemic, SWSL has also signed two projects in India with leading global IPPs adding up to a value of Rs 620 crore.
