Earlier this month, RAK Ceramics participated in Asia’s largest and the world’s third largest building materials, architecture and design show, ACETECH in Mumbai. Over the years, Acetech has helped create better business networking opportunities amongst decision-makers of procurement companies and suppliers.

Presided over by noteworthy personalities such as Architect Hafeez Contractor and Niranjan Hiranandani, the team saw more than 1200 footfalls at its booth at the 4-day event. The booth had been designed and conceptualised by Alessandro Bucci, who also designed the RAK Ceramics booth, at Cersaie in Italy earlier this year. Anil Beejawat, RAK Ceramics CEO, India; Marco Borghi, RAK Ceramics DGM marketing and communications, UAE; and Darayus Bacha, RAK Ceramics - GM, marketing and communications, India; and RAK Ceramics’ leadership team were present at this 4-day event.

"The RAK Ceramics booth was spread over an area of 4,500 sq-ft. Our exclusive product range included the latest introduction of Maximus Megaslabs and newer ranges in full-body technical tiles. We also displayed high-end sanitaryware that is wall hung, console washbasins, standing pedestal basins and the latest introduction of colored washbasins, called RAK Feeling," said Beejawat.

“It has been a part of our strategy to consistently present our company as a global leading brand. In all the fairs we have participated internationally, we make sure that our message and brand image are reflected consistently and aligned with our values. Participating in Acetech 2019, we brought the same approach by building up an eye-catching booth that has an international appeal. We are satisfied that RAK Ceramics, as a global lifestyle solution provider, was visible during the four days. We are sure that our customers, partners, architects and interior designers appreciated the international look and feel of our integrated solutions: tiles, big slabs and sanitaryware that bring ideas to life,” said Borghi.

To make this event a grand success, it had about 100 people working on this event. About 12 trucks were loaded with 17 tonnes of materials. With 11 mock-ups & eight different tile floorings mounting about 15,000 sq-ft of tiles in a 4,500 sq-ft of area, the team had an intricate job at hand to fabricate and finish the task in a matter of six days.

"Talking about gigantic tasks, where slabs are 8 feet in height, the team had to mount slabs in mock-ups of 12 ft. The challenge was to mount one 4 ft slab on an 8 ft slab in a matter of hours. The fabrication was delicate. For example, cutting the tiles at a 45-degree angle. This included tabletops, kitchen counters, shelves, moving shelves, all made of slabs. This multifaceted booth was fabricated by Carpediem Events," said Darayus Bacha.

RAK Ceramics is proud to have presented products at ACETECH’2019 that are sustainable in every sphere of business. Be it home, business place, commercial place, hotels, interiors or exteriors, it has everything covered. Bringing dreams to reality & choosing nature to be our inspiration, it creates room for imagination for our customers. Exactly, what made RAK Ceramics at ACETECH’2019 a grand success!
