Bhatinda oil refinery progress on track

The Bhantinda refinery project is progressing as per schedule with physical progress of 74%, and is expected to be commissioned in September 2011. The information was shared by the Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas Shri Jitin Prasada in the Rajya Sabha.
The Minister also informed that an amount of Rs9,500 crore has been spent till first week of April, 2010. The 9 MMTPA green field refinery is being set up in Bathinda, Punjab by HPCL-Mittal Energy Ltd.
