ACE launched three multi-activity cranes at bauma Conexpo India. Hitherto, cranes were mainly used for lifting. The NX360 screw crane on a pick and carry crane, the NXT which is a 15-tonne pick and carry crane combined with a telehandler, and NXP which is a pick and carry crane and also functions as a aerial work platform (AWP). The last is hydraulically operated from the top.
Each of the machines will replace two machines, which makes it more useful to the operator. The company has also priced the machines cost-effectively, which is a big plus for customers. Agarwal hopes that these three machines will change the way India uses cranes. The idea is to reduce the initial capital cost, operational cost and increase functionality.
ACE has always been at the forefront in terms of new products. It has a reputation for regularly launching new products and continuing innovation on existing ones. In the near future, it’s planning to launch a 55-tonne and 75-tonne truck crane, while also working on a 100-tonne and 150-tonne crawler crane.
