Archean launches its first project in Chennai


Archean Design and Development, the real estate arm of $550 million Archean Group, has announced its plans to develop a landmark residential project in Chennai. ADD Albatross will be the flagship project by Archean, which has newly forayed into the real estate segment.

First phase of Albatross will have three towers of G+ 27 floors with an aim to develop a modern lifestyle community in Chennai, Archean will bring together the expertise of world renowned consultants with Architects as SRSS Singapore, Meinhardt Singapore for Civil, Structure & MEP, IBA New York for Facade, Sitetectonix Singapore for Landscape and Windtech Australia for Wind tunnel engineering to craft this reality project of 537 apartment units spread over 8.35 acres on IT Highway, OMR (Old Mahabalipuram Road), Chennai.

The residential development is designed to ensure 60 per cent direct celestial view of Bay of Bengal from their private balconies. The signature tower with G+27 floors offers 2.5 and 3 BHK lifestyle apartments along with Duplexes and Penthouses on top floors.

Nakshatra Roy, managing director, Archean Design and Development said, “We have teamed up with some of the most renowned international consultants to provide exclusivity in building design and architecture, sustainability, global expertise, and modern lifestyle facilities at the project.”

The construction has commenced this month and the company hopes to handover project by 2015.
Some of the unique lifestyle amenities of the project are progressive learning center, orchard with camping site, water slides with waterfalls, Tai Chi Garden with elder’s area, multiple swimming pools, simulated gaming arcade amongst others.
