APIL announces Q2 results
APIL, the flagship Company of the Ansal API Group, has announced the financial results for the second quarter and Half year of FY2010. Speaking on the quarter/half year results, Pranav Ansal, VC & MD, Ansal API, said: “There is no denying that the last fiscal year was a tough year for all sectors but mostly for the real estate sector. However, we are pleased to announce that there has been improvement in our performance given our focus on affordable housing and mid-market residential market.
We, as promoters, reaffirmed our belief in the company’s future by investing in warrants of the company. We also attracted funds from IPRO Funds, an FII based in Mauritius. ”
Q2 FY2010 Results

Revenues increased by 29.55% to Rs.185.73 crore as compared to Rs. 143.36 crore in Q2 FY2009
EBIDTA up by 27.32% to Rs.59.19 crore as compared to Rs.46.49 crore in Q2 FY2009
PAT up by 38.66% to Rs.33.74 crore as compared to Rs. 24.33 crore in Q2 FY2009.
EPS for Q2 FY2010 stands at Rs. 2.97 (non-annualised)
Half year FY2010 Results

Revenues increased by 1.60% to Rs.323.68 crore as compared to Rs. 318.58 crore in half year FY2009.
EBIDTA up by 9.25% to Rs.99.42 crore as compared to Rs.91.00 crore in half year FY2009.
PAT up by 4.18% to Rs.45.56 crore as compared to Rs.43.73 crore in half year FY2009.
EPS for half year FY2010 stands at Rs. 4.01(non-annualised)
Some prestigious highlights:
Raised Rs 67 crores from IPRO Funds, an FII from Mauritius
Issued warrants amounting to Rs. 126 crores to promoters (25% to be received on subscription and balance 75% anytime over next 18 months) .
Sushant Golf City, Lucknow: Situated on the growth corridor of Lucknow , the township, spread over a total proposed and planned area of 3,530 Acres, is under development and delivery of some built up houses and developed plots has commenced. This township is unique with special features like international championship standard golf course designed by world class experts, Mahesh Bhupati Tennis Academy, Bio-Tech Park, Amusement Park, world class sports club and Tourist Leisure Zone, Medical and Education Facilities. Total value of the Project is approx. Rs 19000 crores.
Megapolis, Dadri: Situated right next to Greater Noida, considered as one of the best township in NCR, it is slated to turn into a world class township over an area of 2,504 Ares. Over the years, the Township will be a model one in the NCR and will be a self sustained township with multiple avenues for employment generation and trade facilities available within the vicinity.
Executing Integrated Townships in the States of Rajasthan spread over 840 acres, Punjab spreading over 320 acres, Haryana around 1490 Acres and Uttar Pradesh over 700 Acres.
APIL launched Affordable Housing projects in the States of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana which have received overwhelming response.
Floated an infrastructure company to implement infrastructure projects in its townships and execute outside contracts as well.
Floated school Leasing Company to construct and lease schools in association with leading education companies i.e. Educomp and GEM.
Entered into a joint venture arrangement with UEM Group, Malaysia a leading construction conglomerate for building of infrastructure in our townships. The first project being undertaken by the JV is the Sushant City, Lucknow project.
