In China, a 7 km long bridge is currently being constructed over the Yangtze River. The ChongQi bridge will connect Chongming Island and the city of Qidong. For the project, 12 main elements made of steel for the bridge central tract had to be transported from the assembly site to the place of destination. With self-propelled transport vehicles from the French vehicle manufacturer NICOLAS Industrie SAS, a total of 25,500 tonnes of steel were moved. Pic Courtesy: NICOLAS Industrie SAS
