Hyundai Construction launches new wheel loader
Hyundai Construction Equipment India has announced the launch of its new-generation wheel loader—‘SL730’ and ‘SL760’. Powered by Yuchai and Weichai, 117 and 206HP engines, the two wheel loaders have payload capacity of 3T and 5T, respectively. The products are apt for varied applications, be it dry or wet sand, gravel, clay, soil, coal, iron ore such as bauxite, gypsum/ phosphate and aggregates handling.
The company has added some new features such as an ‘electromagnetic fan clutch’ which helps adjust the fan speed to reduce the fuel consumption and engine noise. A three layered rubber buffer structure reduces operator fatigue and improves reliability and durability. Longer wheel base and a better reach provided by a higher bucket pivot pin and many other extended features results in highest productivity.
The product was unveiled by the company’s managing director Ki Young Kong at their Chakan plant. “With the launch of the new generation wheel loader we intend to offer our customers high productivity coupled with low fuel consumption. These wheel loaders have a robust structure and also provide a simple and efficient maintenance system,” said Kong.
“The new generation Hyundai wheel loaders are technologically advanced, with high productivity, low fuel consumption, robust structure, enhanced reliability and efficient maintenance system. Designed for excellent stability and working range, the loaders have longer wheelbase making them maintain longitudinal stability in a variety of operating conditions,” the company said.
The SL730 and SL760 wheel loaders have an overall operating weight of 10200kg and 17200kg respectively.
Manufactured at Hyundai’s plant in China, the wheel loader will provide more benefits to the customer in terms of performance, reliability and convenience in serviceability, the company said.
