Pratibha Industries has bagged new orders worth of Rs772 crore in building and water management divisions. With this project, the company’s order book stands at Rs6,568 crore as on December 30, 2011, while total orders bagged in the current financial year to date is worth Rs3,350 crore.
Ajit Kulkarni-led company’s building division bagged a contract of Rs153 crore from Rustomjee Realty for the civil and structural work of residential buildings located at Andheri in Mumbai. The project is expected to be completed within 26 months.
Pratibha Industries bagged another project worth of Rs136 crore from Tata Housing Development Company for the latter’s housing project ‘Tata Amantra’. It involves construction of 23 buildings at Kalyan, near Mumbai, with a total built up area of about 30 lakh square feet. The project is scheduled for completion within 27 months.
The company also bagged new cash contracts worth of Rs 403 crore from Gujarat Water Infrastructure Ltd for laying of 63 km water pipelines. The project will help supply water from Dhanki to Chuli under the Swarnim Gujarat Kutch Water Grid programme with intake arrangement and pumping machinery. It is scheduled to be completed in 12 months with an operation and maintenance period of 5 years.
The company also foraying into overseas market by bagging its first order in Bangladesh from the Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority worth Rs80 crore. It won the project in consortium with Jain Irrigation System and Navana Construction. The contract involves rehabilitation of distribution networks to be completed in 350 days.
