Godrej Interio has entered into an exclusive partnership with the European firm, LINET Group SE, to market and distribute LINET range of hospital beds and allied furniture in the Indian Continent. Both the companies will jointly develop a manufacturing centre to produce healthcare products for the Indian and other Asian markets.
Anil Mathur, COO, Godrej Interio, says, “By bringing LINET’s world class manufacturing and technology to India, we aim to provide superior solutions for medical and nursing care.”
The company feels there is a definite market need for top end products of the motorized bed category to take care of critical requirements like reducing pulmonary infection of long term immobile patients.
The LINET products will be available from April this year. The company will first launch it in all metros before making it available to all over the country.
“Our goal is to develop specialised, obstacle-free healthcare environments specifically adapted to meet local needs while providing outstanding marketing, sales and distribution services for LINET products which we are confident our partnership with Godrej Interio will bring,” says Jan Horak, director marketing and international sales of LINET.
Godrej is currently offering a wide range of healthcare furniture including manual ICU and ICCU beds with multiple features. This tie-up will help Godrej offer wide-spectrum portfolio regarding both price and the functional features. Both companies also plan to lead common research and development activities orientated towards Indian market.
