Escorts to have significant presence at EXCON 2011

Escorts Construction Equipment Limited (ECEL), the construction and material handling equipment manufacturing arm of Escorts Limited, today confirmed its participation in the 6th international exhibition on construction equipment & construction technology trade fair -- EXCON 2011.

According to reports, ECEL will be displaying 15 of its newly launched products at the fair. The products on display include Hydra 1665, a 16T Hydra crane with hydrostatic transmission and Carraro-make axle, which can reach a height of 65 feet and travel at 40 Km per hour. This latest offering will open up a new segment for the company.
Besides, ECEL will be displaying TRX 1651, a 16T crane with can reach a height of 51 feet. The product is fitted with a new Tata engine, and can travel up to 40 Km per hour. Escorts will also be showcasing DIGMAX 4X4 for the first time, along with the loader version ‘LOADMAX’, powered with 76 Hp engine.

The product has been designed to suit the Indian conditions with 1.2 cu.mts front bucket and best in class dumping heights and payload capacities. Restyled tandem vibratory roller in both soil and tandem categories will also be on display.
Over the years, ECEL has inked exclusive marketing and distribution agreements with some of the world’s best known names. Through these global partnerships, the group has been able to cater to the varied needs of the growing construction equipment market in India. It will be displaying products including telescopic handlers and Ariel platforms from Manitou; motor graders and wheel loaders from XGMA; forklifts from Doosan; tower cranes from Commansa-Jie and truck cranes from Zoomlion.
ECEL will also be introducing safety features in its entire range of products, which forms the central theme for its future product enhancements. Safe load indicator from leading Australian company Robway is the latest offering at EXCON 2011. It has been configured for Escorts hydraulic mobile cranes. The group has booked about 1130 sq meter of stall area at EXCON 2011 to showcase its range of products.
