Sanjay Kirloskar, CMD, KBL inaugurating the new facility

Kirloskar Brothers Ltd (KBL) inaugurated its new manufacturing facility at Coimbatore. The plant was inaugurated at the hands of Sanjay Kirloskar, Chairman and Managing Director, in the presence of eminent people, members of the Kirloskar family, KBL employees and dealers. The inaugural ceremony was performed at the plant. The event also included felicitation of a few important contributors in the making of this plant. Spread over six acres, this is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Karumathampatti near Coimbatore. The plant has an installed capacity of 250000 units of different models of domestic pumps in the first phase and 500000 units in the second phase, informed Aseem Srivastav, VP & Head – Small Pumps at Kirloskar Brothers Ltd. As per Ravi Murthy, Vice President and Head – Distribution Business Sector, this plant will provide a big boost to their efforts in addressing the fast growing market for small pumps in the Southern parts of India.
