Philips Electronics India Ltd unveiled its first 'Light Lounge' in Gurgaon. A Light Lounge is an experience zone which gives customers a 'see, touch and feel' experience of a diverse range of world-class home decorative lighting concepts from Philips like Living Colors, Ecomoods, Kidsplace, Ledino and Aquafit. Philips is buoyant about its plans to consolidate its retail presence in Delhi-NCR and North India by opening more Light Lounges and Light Shoppes (Shop-in-shops) in the coming months.
"In line with the continued company-wide focus on consumer lighting, Philips has rapidly increased its retail presence across important cities in India in the last one year," said, R Nandakishore, Senior Director - Home Decorative Lighting & Modular Switches, Philips Lighting India. "Gurgaon, the satellite town of Delhi-NCR is fast becoming an important market which offers an interesting profile of customers. The region offers huge business potential to us. The new Light Lounge will offer consumers the complete range of home decorative lighting solutions under one roof," he added.
