Indian Commerce Minister Anand Sharma with the Federal Minister of Economics & Technologies, Rainer Bruderle, in Berlin
Indian Commerce Minister Anand Sharma, who was on a three-day visit to Dusseldorf and Berlin, has emphasised on the strategic partnership in innovation between India and Germany. He said both the countries can collaborate in knowledge sectors such as ICT, energy, green technology, small city and integrated township, besides further enhancement of ongoing cooperation in infrastructure, manufacturing and engineering.
In Dusseldorf, Sharma inaugurated the “India Goes to Germany Mission” and attended interactive meetings with the Chamber of Commerce of Düsseldorf and with select CEOs besides the meetings with the Minister of Economic Affairs, Energy, Construction, Housing & Transport of the State of North Rhine Westphalia.
In Berlin, the Minister held a bilateral meeting with Federal Minister of Economics & Technologies, Rainer Bruderle and also inaugurated the FICCI-Fraunhofer Roundtable on “Innovation as a Driver of Indo-German Economic Relations”.
