Brijeshwar Singh gets extension as NHAI Chairman

Brijeshwar Singh, an IAS Officer of 1975 Batch of Tamil Nadu Cadre, has been given an extension of three months as Chairman of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the re-employment of Singh as Chairman, NHAI on contract basis, for a period of three months (w.e.f.1st September, 2010) or till a regular incumbent takes over, whichever is earlier.
