HCC bags Rs126.225 crore contract from Hindalco

Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) has been awarded a project by Hindalco Industries Limited, an Aditya Birla Group Company and industry leader in aluminium business for Potline Structural Steel fabrication work in a greenfield smelter project at Sambalpur in Orissa. The total cost of the project is Rs126.225 crore and will be completed in 16 months.
The project scope involves fabrication & supply of bolted /welded structural steel works, including built-up sections made out of plates, rolled sections as per EIL Specifications for Potline, CSS, PTM, Equipment Maintenance Shop on for project site basis – Quantity 17000 MT. This work requires high precision quality to maintain very low tolerance limit as per the desired specifications.
