Orient Ceramics opens first store in North-East

Orient Ceramics & Industries Ltd (OCIL) will now bring the premium range of Europa tiles to the north-east region with the opening of its new franchise store today. The new store is the company's first major venture in the region and is dedicated to providing consumers an unparalleled selection of a world-class product, focused on showcasing the beauty and value found in ceramic tiles.
The strategically located store spread over 2,100 sq ft, is one of the biggest stores in the region and will enable customers to touch, feel and experience the ntire product portfolio.
Speaking on the occasion Madhur Daga, Executive Director OCIL said, "The economy in north-east region and specially Guwahati has been growing at tremendous pace and Govt of India has envisaged a growth rate of 9% specifically for the region, looking towards the vast potential for growth and after carefully examining the buying patterns and changing dynamics of the region we have strategically opened our first store in the region at Guwahati. We are extremely pleased and believe that we shall be getting the same response and enthusiasm of the people of the region towards our offerings that we have received in other parts of India. The tiles designed by the only European in-house designer in the country Maria Jose Castillo, will give the consumers a wide range and unmatched designs to choose amongst the variety of Europa tiles for Wall & Floor. "The “Europa - Tile studio is the second of newly designed franchisee outlet that has opened after successful launch of the same in Rudrapur in Uttarakhand and we intend to open 25 such outlets across major markets in other regions," added Mr Daga.
