a2z Infrastructure Pvt Ltd has received the JCB CII – APTDC Solid Waste Management Award for achieving excellence in solid waste management. The award was declared at a two day National Symposium on Municipal Solid Waste Management (NSMSW) organized by JCB India Ltd, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Andhra Pradesh Technology Development and Promotion Centre (APTDC) in Hyderabad.
a2z Infrastructure won this award for its best practices in effective waste management. a2z has close to 6000 TPD of municipal solid waste in its portfolio and it carries out various initiatives to create awareness among public for environment conservation.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rajneesh Mehra, CEO, a2z Infrastructure Pvt Ltd said, "Effective handling of municipal solid waste is extremely essential for environment conservation and wellbeing of society. CII has recognized the importance of this subject and formed a task force to create awareness and develop a central and state policy for managing solid waste.
