Delivering powerful performance despite compact dimensions, the machine will bring the benefits of JCB’s market-leading Loadall range to previously inaccessible construction and industrial applications.
At the heart of this machine is an innovative, patented chassis design. The machine boasts of a spacious operator environment despite the reduced height. Targeting general building contractors, builders’ merchants and plant hirers, the versatile new model is able to perform many of the on-site tasks which may have previously required several different machines. The JCB 515-40 has been purpose built to improve productivity for the construction sector – using different attachments to handle a range of materials such as aggregates and palletised loads. 12. Hyundai enters the demolition market: The demand for high-reach demolition machines is increasing. Hyundai has responded by adding an all-new, purpose-designed heavy-duty Demolition Machine to its comprehensive new 9-Series range of excavators.
The new R520LC-9 DM is based on the new 52t excavator model, but when equipped with the special 4-section high reach demolition boom, the actual operating weight is between 58-59t, depending on the choice of track. The undercarriage frame is a strong reinforced X-section for strength and rigidity, and features a retractable-width track system, which provides a maximum overall operating width (over tracks) of 3.54m, but which can be retracted to less than 3m for transport purposes. A variety of track shoes from 600 to 800mm wide are available. Power comes from a 255kW (357hp) Cummins QSM11 Tier 3-rated engine, driving a tandem pair of variable displacement hydraulic pumps, with Hyundai’s patented programmable hydraulic control system. 13. Schwing Stetter premieres its new SP 2880 concrete pump: The new Schwing stationary SP 2880 concrete pump is entirely in line with the company’s ‘gogreen’ initiative since the significant weight savings lead to substantially lower fuel consumption during transport. Schwing has done away with installation of an energy-consuming changeover block for the changeover from the piston to the rod side. The hydraulic hoses can be very simply detached by hand using drip-free quick-action couplings and reconnected – no dripping oil, no waste of fuel due to changeover block heating. Schwing rounds off the green concept with the noise abatement system. The new control with display provides all current operating data like engine speed, hydraulic pressure and stroke. The modular structure also permits use of two different axles. Contact: info@schwing.de, Phone: +49 (0)2325 - 987-0
14. Soilmec projects the SR-90 TTJ Hydraulic Rotary Rig: Following the positive global market feedback, Soilmec has projected the SR-90 in a new configuration: the TTJ Twin Turbojet. This new solution for soil mixing consists of double TJ string mounted on the same rig designed for best breaking-up and mixing of the soil and for maintaining the vertical direction of the treated panel. The depth of the rig will reach 24.5 m using two 1600 mm diameter tools. The distance between the two drilling axis is adjustable from 1200 mm to 2000 mm. An important innovation introduced on this new model is the DMS monitoring system combined with an innovative GPS positioning system for drilling work (Easy Soil). Furthermore, the SR-90 TTJ is provided with a system suitable for dialoguing by radio in order to operate the controls’ rear-action of the high pressure Soilmec pump. Contact: www.soilmec.com
15. Wirtgen presents the new 2200 CR model: This four-tracked cold recycler with a standard working width of 2.20 m for the in-situ cold recycling of roads is capable not only of recycling the pavement material but also of placing the recycled mix again immediately by means of an integrated paving screed. Both water-cement slurry and bitumen emulsion or foamed bitumen can be added to the recycling process. It can also be operated as a road milling machine. The 2200 CR is equipped with a spreading auger and Vogele paving screed type AB 375 T, enabling it to place and pre-compact the recycled mix immediately in an in-situ process. The new 2200 CR model offers the full range of options in cold recycling. Contact: Claudia Fernus, claudia.fernus@wirtgen.de, Phone: +49-2645-131-744
