Saint-Gobain Gyproc has introduced Gyproc Bond it. The company calls it a high performance Gypsum Plaster Bonding Agent. According to a company statement, Gyproc Bond it has a unique single product formulation that imparts strong chemical and mechanical bond, thus eliminating the entire activity of surface preparation and providing strong bonding between gypsum plaster & substrate surface.

• Ready to apply, single coat paint application, so faster & easier than hacking
• Contains fine aggregates to impart better mechanical bond, & acrylic binders to impart chemical bonding leading to a dual strong bond between gypsum & substrate surface
• Green in color, easy to identify applied surface
• Dries in 24 hours, gypsum plaster can be applied any time once the drying is complete
• Approximate Coverage would be 5 sq m per kg, depending on background suction
• It can be applied at any temperature within a range of 5 to 45°C
• The only bonding agent specified with Gyproc Plaster
• Can be applied on any low suction surface (concrete surfaces and shear walls)
