Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC), M/s ELDECO Housing & Industries Ltd and Dr KL Garg Memorial Trust have entered into an MoU to jointly establish vocational training institutes for construction related trades in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The training institutes will be called as CIDC Eldeco Training Centre.
The training programmes shall cover Artisans, Supervisors & Mates, Engineering Diploma Programmes and Executive Development Programmes. This tripartite association is designed to benefit the marginalized section of the society by providing opportunity to acquire skills in construction related trade and thereby seek gainful employment.
CIDC, established by Planning Commission, Govt. of India and the Construction Industry, has the mandate to streamline the functioning of Construction Industry, with a special emphasis on Human Resource Development, and also to conceptualize, plan, design, implement, manage and operate HRD Institutions, independently or jointly with other organizations both from the private & public sector.
ELDECO Housing & Industries Ltd, Lucknow is a renowned Real Estate Colonizer /Developer and is also involved in other construction activities. Dr K L Garg Charitable Trust has been established primarily for helping the needy and poor in the society and has enlarged its activities to several other areas including assistance to the needy and meritorious students.
