RAK Ceramics has appointed Bhupendra Vyas and Prakash Guddad in strategic roles for its Indian operations. The company has been on looking at expanding aggressively in India, and the appointments are a move to strengthen the core team of the company and improve the brand profile. Mr Vyas, who has joined RAK Ceramics as President (Operations), will be responsible for the company’s marketing and operations while Mr Guddad, who has come on board as Chief Advisor – Marketing, will oversee the brand management, and marketing initiatives.
Elaborating on the appoint of prominent industry leaders, Sunil Malesha, Managing Director, RAK Ceramics says, “I am glad to have Prakash and Bhupendra on board for RAK. One is the builder of an organization of global standards and another is the builder of a brand, an innovator. Over the last few years we have been growing steadily, we are planning to add more products to our kitty and now, we can look at increasing the pace of our expansion by leveraging on the expertise of both of them.” Mr. Vyas said, “Our aim is to raise RAK Ceramics from one of the leading companies in India, to the leaders of India.” “From just remembering the brand to the one being recommended is the journey we are going to undertake.” added Mr Guddad.
With over 29 years of experience in Sales and Marketing, Mr Vyas is a veteran of the ceramics industry. Prior to joining RAK, he has previously worked with companies like Kajaria Ceramics Ltd. and Bell MarboGranit.
A seasoned marketing and design professional, Mr Guddad has over 30 years of experience. His area of specialization is essentially branding, communications – art, marketing, new age experiential marketing, retail development etc.
