Schwing Stetter (India) Pvt Ltd has launched seven new products in the construction equipment category. These include the CP 18, M 1.25, M 2.25 (mobile batching plants), LP 1400, S 41 (concrete pumps), Spraycon 20.1 (shotcreting machine) and a truck mixer with pump.
Announcing the launch of the new products, Mr. Anand Sundaresan, Managing Director, Schwing Stetter (India) Pvt Ltd said: “We’re extremely happy to launch 7 new products from the Schwing Stetter stable, covering an entire range of construction equipment. This year has been extremely significant for us in terms of expansion of our product portfolio. The construction sector is receiving tremendous impetus from the Government, with a strong focus on infrastructure projects. SCHWING Stetter (India) will be unveiling the new equipments at EXCON 2009, to be held at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre from November 25 - 29.

Schwing Stetter (India) launched the SP 1400, a concrete pump and the S-36, a truck-mounted concrete pump, earlier this year. Schwing Stetter (India) has also been recognized internationally for the world record set by the company in pumping concrete vertically up to a record height to 715 meters for the Parbati Hydro-electric project in Suind village, Himachal Pradesh. The project is being implemented by the National Hydro-electric Corporation. The Parbati Hydroelectric Project Stage-II is a run-of-the-river scheme, proposed to harness hydro potential of the lower reaches of the river Parbati. SCHWING Stetter (India) supplied BP 4000 super concrete pumps to Gammon India, which is executing the project for pumping concrete from the bottom of the tunnel to the top of the tunnel, which had a total length of 1500 meters and an inclination of 30˚. The record set as part of the project was recognized on August 7, 2009.
