My biggest achievement: Being part of the project team which prepared the Rs2,600 crore City Development Plan report for Navi Mumbai. The report helped NMMC in getting grants from both the central & state governments to execute the plan under the JNNURM.

Most unforgettable moment at work: There were two actually. First when I was awarded a ‘Commendation letter’ from Asian Paints Ltd. for initiative shown in the development of materials section for the year 1992-93. Then when I won the ‘Best Performance Award’ from Alliance Business Credit Limited for two years in a row (1995-97) for exemplary performance in business development for the infra sector.
Most challenging part of my profession/job: Hitting the ground running for some infra projects and coming up to speed on their current status in the minimum time possible.
When I’m not working I: Enjoy reading newspapers, magazines, watching films and playing sports.
My mantra for success is: Success never happens overnight. Take one step forward at a time.
If I could, I would: Like to get involved in sports initiatives and social development.
