Convert, a new category of modular carpet manufactured with a full colour spectrum of post consumer (recycled) yarn, has been launched by InterfaceFLOR India Pvt. Ltd. Powered by technology that enables them to “reinyarnate” all nylon face fibre into a clean stream of recycled nylon, the company is aggressively recycling its own as well as its competitors’ old carpets into a collection that boasts what could be the largest recycled content (around 72%) among carpets.

Designed by David Oakey, the Convert collection is a step towards InterfaceFLOR’s Mission Zero promise to eliminate any negative impact on the environment by 2020. The range has 13 patterns in four to 24 colorways including the textured solid What Goes Around, intertwining Reissued, striated Fresh Start, and a pair of linear patterns, Reincarnation and Rags to Riches.
