Roof & Cladding India 2009 - Asia’s largest roofing, cladding & allied technology event was held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, on May 28–30, 2009.
Organised by the Chennai-based Unitech Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, the event is endorsed by the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), USA, TENSINET Association (Belgium) – International Tensile Membranes Association and supported by the China National Waterproof Building Materials Industry Association (CNWBMIA), China.
The exhibition also hosted a concurrent conference attended by leading industry players and experts. Over 70 national & international companies showcased the latest in roofing systems, architectural cladding, metal building systems/PEB,tensile membrane structures, space-frame structures, skylight & domes, waterproofing, roofing insulation and machinery.
“This event has given us a focussed platform to promote our comprehensive products and turn-key roofing solutions for the Indian market,” said Rosy Salameh, associate executive director of the UAE-based Tiger Profiles & Insulation LLC, one of the many international participants.
The exhibition received an encouraging response with over 3500+ visitors that included architects, engineers, structural consultants, developers,roofing contractors, project consultants, and EPIC contractors looking for building enveloping and total roofing solutions.
The event organisers have already announced the next edition of the exhibition that will be hosted at the Chennai Trade Centre on April 23-25, 2010.
