GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL), the developer and operator of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here, has introduced measures to increase revenue.
It includes increasing the spread on duty free, retail and food and beverage of passengers. Simultaneously, the company has deferred its Rs150 crore capital expenditure plan on the international airport.
The company saw a decline in domestic traffic first six months of this fiscal by 7.7% to 2.49 million from 2.7 million same period last year. International passenger traffic increased by 8.4% in the same period.
