IDB has called a tender to carry out improvement and paving works along 60km of the Ruta Provincial 20 highway in Argentina’s Entre Ríos province.

The project has an estimated cost of US$38mn and works will be carried out on 31km of the Ruta Provincial 39-Las Moscas section and 29km on the stretch between Las Moscas and the connection to Ruta Nacional 130.

The IDB loan for the project is part of a larger US$100mn development and competitiveness program in Entre Ríos.

Goals include increasing basic infrastructure to improve transit conditions throughout the province, as well as port and power projects.

The resources also contemplate institutional strengthening, studies and inspection of projects, among other components.
