Power equipment maker KEC International has bagged three orders aggregating Rs 365crore from different vendors for construction of transmission lines.
This includes two contracts of Rs 340 crore from Power Grid Corporation India Ltd (PGCIL) for construction related works.
The first order worth Rs185 crore is for construction of transmission lines in Assam and Arunanchal Pradesh and it is scheduled to be completed by November 2011. The company said in a statement it has won another contract worth Rs155 crore from PGCIL. It would construct transmission lines in Gujarat and Maharashtra and the project is expected to be completed by December 2011.
KEC has also bagged an order valued Rs25 crore from Central Organisation for Railway Electrification (CORE). The scope of work includes design, supply and construction of 25 KV of circuit lines and the proejct is scheduled to completed by September 2010.
